This nonprofit started in 2022 to combat disparities in health education across underprivileged communities and spread awareness in local public schools and social events

Meet the Team

Open Doors Foundation is comprised of a large community of student across the Northeast who have demonstrate a strong passion for health advocacy and social empowerment. As a group, we prioritzed education first and independently remain highly motivated and determined.

Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Tanvi Madduru

Tanvi Madduru is a rising senior at Lexington High School. She and her brother Vineet Madduru founded Open Doors Foundation in 2022. She is currently the President and Founder of the Open Doors Club at her school and with a group of students, works to further the goal of health literacy in her community. Tanvi volunteers at Massachusetts General Hospital in Patient Discharge and pursues independent research as a prospective pre-med student. She enjoys cooking, and Indian classical dance. She also works with the Medical Minds Matter Organization to combat physician burnout.

Founder/Chief Financial Officer

Vineet Madduru

Vineet Madduru is a college graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. He majored in Biology and is currently working as a Medical Assistant in the UPMC Health Care system. He fundraises for various education-oriented charities through his college fraternity. He has worked with Centre For Social Services and raised funds for this organization in India for underprivileged young children. Vineet Madduru continues to pursue his interest in medical career and has done research in Immunology at University of Pittsburgh, he is a certified EMT.
